Qalb As Salaam began as a personal journey. During a challenging time in my life, I found myself searching for tools to deepen my connection with Allah and cultivate gratitude and reflection, but nothing truly spoke to me. I searched for affordable tools that actually prompted me to look deep within myself that could guide me through reflection and healing through Islam. When I couldn’t find what I needed, I decided to create it. This vision grew into our first creation: Grateful Hearts, an Islamic gratitude journal designed to inspire reflection and spiritual growth.

As the brand evolved, we realized that reflection isn’t just about journaling. Rather, it’s about creating a lifestyle—one that embraces mindfulness, celebrates femininity, and aligns with Islamic values. From the very beginning of Islam, knowledge was preserved and shared through gatherings, where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions conveyed wisdom through narration. Many of our teachings have been passed down through these oral traditions, reinforcing the importance of reflection not only as an individual practice but also within our communities. The Qur’an itself calls us to ponder deeply over its verses, to engage in self-reflection, and to nurture our faith through meaningful discussions with our loved ones.
